Patriotic M Cookies

Ingredients:

• 1 cup butter, softened
• 1 cup white sugar
• 1 cup brown sugar, packed
• 2 large eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• teaspoon salt
• 1 cups red, white, and blue M&Ms

Instructions:

Before you start cooking, heat the oven to 375F 190C

Softened butter, white sugar, and brown sugar should all be mixed together in a large bowl until the mixture is smooth

Adding the eggs one at a time and mixing them in is the next step

Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt together in a different bowl

Add the dry ingredients to the wet ones one at a time and mix just until everything is combined

The red, white, and blue M&Ms should be carefully mixed in

Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto baking sheets that have not been greased

After the oven is hot, bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden

After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheets before moving them to wire racks to cool all the way
