Linguine with Chorizo and Clams

A hearty and flavorful seafood pasta dish made with linguine and a white wine sauce. The chorizo adds rich flavors and the clams add a salty, fresh taste.

Ingredients:

  • 200g linguine pasta
  • 150g chorizo sausage, sliced
  • 500g fresh clams, cleaned
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

Cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente

Drain and set aside

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat

Add sliced chorizo and cook until lightly browned, about 3-4 minutes

Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant

Pour in white wine and bring to a simmer

Add cleaned clams to the skillet, cover, and cook for 5-6 minutes or until the clams open

Discard any unopened clams

Season with salt and pepper to taste

Add cooked linguine to the skillet, toss to combine with the sauce and clams

Garnish with fresh parsley before serving

Serve hot and enjoy
