These fried mashed potato balls are crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, making them a delightful snack or side dish.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped chives
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- Oil for frying
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix together the beaten egg, shredded cheese, chopped chives, breadcrumbs, and mashed potatoes
Add salt and pepper to taste, and then mix everything together well
Form little balls out of small amounts of the mixture
In a deep fryer or frying pan, heat the oil over medium-low heat
With care, put the potato balls into the hot oil
Fry for three to four minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy
Before putting the fried potato balls on a paper towel-lined plate to drain, take them out of the oil
